What do you think the world should do about the ever-growing population?

I don't think we should have anything. Why should we allow the government to play god with our reproductive capabilities? China has a one child policy which has altered the why Chinese people are. There are a lack of women in that country and I can only describe it as a disaster. The ruling elite will say what they want to only control us they will empty us out and fill us up with their crap.
