Will zantac prevent my baby from burping during feedings?

she just started it yesterday along with new formula, the soy kind and also cereal was added to her bottle. i can't get her to burp. she does sometimes, i try to feed her more and try again but she just dont burp. she don't seem unhappy or gy. could it be the zantac?
