OMFG . I'm so scared ! D: help ?

So like i got a lip piercing . & someone try to hug me & they hit my lip & inside the swellness went over the back part & my mom & people are telling me to js ' push it thru ' my skin & i'm so scared that it'll hurt D; any other advice , PLEASE !!
