Free Ancestry search/website?

I wanna know more about my ancestors. The website has to be a Scottish history one, not American or English. I know I have a Norwegian second name, and I want to know if my ancestors were the first settlers in Scotland (the vikings) So any help would be really appreciated! Thank You! :D
